Dr. Simon has been conducting clinical research for more than 35 years as a principal investigator for a variety of indications in women’s health including contraceptives, low libido/desire, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, menstrual migraines, vasomotor symptoms of menopause (i.e. hot flashes and night sweats), vulvovaginal atrophy, osteoporosis, overactive bladder, and weight loss. Notable recent FDA approvals include Addyi® (flibanserin, Sprout Pharmaceuticals) and Saxenda® (liraglutide, Novo Nordisk).
Now accepting patient candidates for the following studies:
Vulvar and Vaginal Atrophy Treatment with Vaginally Administer Estrogen
A generic vaginal estrogen tablet for postmenopausal women who experience moderate to severe vulvar vaginal atrophy (VVA).
Oral Treatment (Medical Not Surgical) for Fibroid Tumors and Associated Bleeding
An oral medication for the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding due to uterine fibroids. Changes in fibroid and uterine size will also be evaluated by ultrasound and/or MRI scans.
Oral Treatment for Endometriosis and Associated Pain
An oral medication for the treatment of moderate to severe endometriosis related pain.
